VK81 Gold is ideal microbe formulation and soil ameliorant that cultured, adsorbed, and fermented excellent microbes to vermiculite which has great water holding, nutrient holding capacity and aeration. These microbes are researched, developed, and patented from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology with the focus of decomposition acceleration, improvement of the soil, and high yield of crops.

2. Features and effects

▪ Reduces gas injury : Suppresses gas injury and pathogen propagation by accelerating decomposition of undecomposed organic matters.

▪ Reduces continuous cropping injury : Reduces continuous cropping injury and physiological disorder by fermenting organic matters by amino acid, saccharides, vitamin, physiological active substance, and ester.

▪ Enhances disease tolerance : Effective microbes decompose organic matters in soil and create antibiotics. Created antibiotics are absorbed with vitamins and growth hormone to crops together and result in disease tolerance enhancement and reduce several damages from disease.

▪ Soil improvement : Hypha and mucus from microbe entangle soil specks and improves the soil by making into sponge structure. Especially, vermiculite has great water holding, nutrient holding capacity and aeration which promotes crops stable growth.

▪ Actinomycetes : Actinomycetes forms spore and is essential soil microbes that adapts to soil well, and increase the soil fertility by using photosynthetic bacteria. Also, actinomycetes shows strong monovalence to several phytopathogen and prevents disease for crops.

▪ Fungus : Rapidly decomposes protein, saccharide, organic matter. Improves crops’ immunity, generates antifugal substance and suppress the ammonia gas.

6. Usage

▪ Ginseng

- For preparation field : 10~15 packages (soil preparation with compost)

- For the field of ginseng seedling: 3~6 packages (Rotary in order to mix soil evenly)

- For ginseng seedling: 3~6 packages (Apply before transplanting)

- Permanent field: 3~6 packages (Apply to seed bed and cover)

▪ Garden crops : Tomato, strawberry, watermelon, melon, cucumber, pepper: 10~ 15 packages

▪ General crop : Garlic, onion, potato, sweet potato, cabbage, radish, tobacco: 6~10 packages

▪ Fruits : Apple, pear, mandarin, grape, peach: 10~15 packages

▪ Flowers : Rose, carnation, herbs: 10~15 packages

▪ When producing own fermented compost : Mix 1 ton of compost components (animal manure, sawdust, and hull) with 1~3 packages of VK81 Gold with 60~70% moisture rate. After 15~20days, when the core temperature is above 60℃, turn inside out twice then fine quality compost with plentiful antibacterial microorganism is produced.
